SoKno Sourdough, the all-sourdough bakery on Barber Street, opens its doors for First Friday with Peter Riesing's art on the walls and Paradise Chocolate at a table. Paradise, the Knoxville bean-to-bar maker, was at the bakery for an earlier First Friday and is back with its bars and something new from its kitchen: a chocolate tonic, which it will be pouring as samples. The bakery and the chocolate are both small, woman-run South Knoxville businesses, and this is the kind of evening where you meet the people who make the thing. Paradise moves on to the Drop Inn's fire pit for Fall Fest on Saturday with s'mores and drinking chocolate.
