Latin.Knox, the Latin house party that debuted in July, comes to Printshop for its second night on First Friday. The promoter's pitch is a set that starts familiar and gets deeper as the night goes: DJ EV opens with the Latin party classics and club bangers he plays around Knoxville, Jason Davila, out of Atlanta's underground dance parties, takes the peak, and Minitiger, the Knoxville fixture who closed Fly by Night's Halloween ball, finishes with Latin-infused selections. Nine o'clock, twenty dollars, twenty-one and up, in the taproom on the river at 1532 Island Home Avenue. Knox Social Girls Club is folding its Latin Ladies Night into the same party, and says you do not have to be Latina to come. Printshop's Friday flight deal, twelve dollars for four pours, runs from noon to nine if you want to get there early.
