The After Brunch Special is Comedy Sphere's idea of a matinee: walk out of brunch and into a stand-up show, with the mimosa energy intact. Saturday's edition at the Pink Cactus seats at two, starts at two thirty and costs five dollars. Six comics are on the bill, Keith Marcell, Daniel Castillo, Trey Galyon, Hope Conner, Lauren Reilly and Sam Kelly, with Justin Chavez hosting. The Pink Cactus serves Latin-inspired food and cocktails downstairs, the front-yard patio has covered seating and yard games, and the private karaoke rooms upstairs are free for an hour every Thursday this month.
