Renew in Nature: yoga, a sound bath and forest bathing at the Ijams homesite Sunday morning
Two quiet hours, with an extra hour of sleep.

Ijams Nature Center's Renew in Nature is a two-hour meditative workshop on Sunday, November 1, from ten to noon: a morning of nature meditation with yoga, a sound bath and a forest bathing session, in the park's words, split between the Miller Building and the Homesite Pavilion on the historic Ijams family homesite. Forest bathing is the Japanese practice of walking slowly and paying attention in the woods, and the pavilion sits at the edge of them. It is $40, registration on the park's calendar, and it falls on the first morning after the clocks go back, so ten o'clock will feel like eleven. Rain showers are likely Sunday; the yoga and the sound bath are under roof.
