Planet Doom, Doomsayer's recurring EDM night, makes the Pink Cactus its Halloween home on Friday, October 30, with Pink Is Punk: HalloweEMO, a party of EDM remixes of emo favorites from nine until two, 18 and up, costumes encouraged. Before it, at 7:30, Knox Social Club and The Comedy Sphere run Love at First Laugh: Get Boo'd Up Edition, a blind-dating gameshow hosted by comedians. A thirty-five-dollar VIP ticket, sold through Knox Social Club, covers both; the party alone has a presale on Doomsayer's site, which lists it nine to two at the pink house. The Pink Cactus put both on its October list at the start of the month, and Planet Doom posted the details with the venue on October 13.
