Storytime at the Nature Playscape is all about bats on Halloween morning

Free, for the smallest Halloween fans.

Ijams Nature Center's Saturday storytime moves to the Nature Playscape on October 31 with a theme that fits the date: bats. The park bills it as a free Saturday family event focused on bats, from ten to noon, in the natural playground on Island Home Avenue. Last Saturday's storytime was fairytales ahead of the Enchanted Forest; this one is the Halloween animal, and it is the easiest Halloween-morning plan on the beat for anyone with a toddler who will be up at six anyway. The weather is mostly cloudy and in the 60s by ten, climbing to 76.
