Kern's calls it the Ho'Down: on Friday, October 30, the lawn at the food hall goes country, with line dancing, two-stepping and a live DJ, a mechanical bull, and a group lesson in the Thriller line dance for the holiday. The costume contest winners are announced at nine during the dancing, a $500 gift card for first and a $100 Eggspectation card for second; the post's advice is dress up, hop on the bull and show us what you've got. Kern's post gives the nine o'clock mark but no start time, so arrive after dinner. Friday is mostly sunny and 77 and in the 50s after dark.
